 The Daily Chat

A chatbox where we can post comments and have discussions on artists & songs. However, if you just want to say thank you for a particular post then please continue using the usual comment box located below each post.

Well since flinging the gates open the other day there certainly has been lots more activity around here. Firstly I want to say a big welcome to all the new people who are now accessing the blog. I hope you enjoy your visits here and find lots of great music to listen to. There have been lots of anonymous comments giving thanks, and this is very much appreciated, however, we're a friendly community so please use a name, anything you like, that way we'll get to know who is who.

Here's a triple post for ya'll today:

Assorted Recordings - Blues, R&B, Soul & Gospel Vol 25.

The Best Of Country, Pre-War & Acoustic Blues Vol 32 - A Spoonful Blues.

And my 2nd favorite album by Charlie Musselwhite - Continental Drifter (1999). "Stand Back" remains my favorite Musselwhite album, and it is in my opinion one of the best blues albums ever by a white artist. Charlie went on to record heaps of outstanding albums after "Stand Back" but the one that really floored me was "Continental Drifter", in particular the Cuban tracks. So if you have never heard this masterpiece before jump in and soak it up. And if you haven't listened to it for a long time, believe me it's an album that deserves another listen.

Now that this blog is public all music fans are welcome here, therefore feel free to spread the word around your friends and share the blog address.

Anyway my friends. Dig in. Dig the great music here. And don't forget to take a few seconds to post those comments.

    1. Yes Yara, I'm testing the waters, hoping to attract a larger audience but not wanting any of the negative aspects...so we'll see how it goes.
