  5. Quick Story Time: Carl Perkins car crash in 1956 - on his way to New York to play the Ed Sullivan & Perry Como shows. Ended his meteoric rise to be King of Rock & Roll... with Carl Perkins gone from music, some kid named Elvis Presley was Annointed KING in Carl's place. Had the car crash not occurred, the careers of Elvis & Carl Perkins would be reversed.
