    1. Hi Mike, yes some of the bluesmen's nicknames were far from flattering. There's a drummer known as Beedy Eyes, there was a Crapeye, Big Walter Horton was also known as Mumbles. There were many more like this.

  2. Wow, I wonder why it seems peculiar to the blues side of music that they have have these types of Nicknames' or am i missing all the others? I should Google Blues Nicknames' and see what comes up.๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜‰

    1. They seem to focus on afflictions more in blues/black culture than other genres. There are all those blind blues singers who's names are prefixed with blind, likewise cripples.
