  3. Thanks for the daily photo, (muddy in the 60,s (?), and the cover of your vol 66, with Muddy & Willie Dixon (i think??)

    1. Yes, daily photo Muddy in 1968, that was the period when Muddy and his guitar players used those weird shaped guitars, Guilds, I think. And the cover, correct Muddy & Willie Dixon. I had a most enjoyable conversation with Willie in the mid 1970s, I think it was 1974. I had done in depth interviews with some of his band (Carey Bell, Buster Benton, Freddie Dixon, Clifton James, Lafayette Leake) Willie was sitting in one of the rooms having a sandwich, and I sat down and we just chatted, it wasn't an interview and I didn't use a tape recorder, just a casual conversation. He talked about different countries he'd been to and people he'd worked with.
