  1. Volume 107 already, thank you Bob. When I was a young fellow I had a 45 of Luther Played The Boogie and I literally wore it out.

    1. Hi Wayne, I remember 45s well, they'd be dances held in local halls with a record player on a table and we'd roll up with a favorite 45 and take turns playing our favorite songs.

    1. Hi moze, yes there was a bit of a reference to that in the movie, I think it was when they were all on a tour bus and June took a cigarette out of the hand of a sleeping Luther. And when I saw JC show in the early 1970s Carl was in the band, brilliant player, he did set of his own songs. That was a night of legends for me: JC, June, Mother Maybelle, Carl Perkins.

  4. Hope you don't mind me commenting again Bob but I was just wondering how many people realize who Bobby Pedrick Jr. actually is?

    1. Hi Wayne, I don't know much about him myself, I think he popped up later with a change of name and had a few hits.

  5. His name is Robert John Pedrick Jr. , the same Robert John who had the 1979 hit "Sad Eyes".
