Departing from 1987's softer sounding Australian Rhythm & Blues, Blue Metal sees Matt Taylor and Chain returning to the band's classic "Ozblues" sound, for a heavier and more guitar focused album with John Meyer on guitar (ex-Rose Tattoo), Bob Fortesque on bass (ex-Blackfeather) and Michael Burn on drums.

ReplyDeleteYes I knew John, I met him when he first came onto the Perth scene back in 1970. Unfortunately he passed away a few years ago.
