Unfortunately Pixeldrain has been having lots of issues recently, the troubles seem to have started about a week ago and now everyday the servers are down, then back on, then down again. It's taking me much longer to upload stuff these past few days, and sometimes taking me hours to download something from one of the other music blogs.
All this is a shame as Pixeldrain has been excellent since I began using it a couple of years ago. The uploads and downloads have been fast and the links stay active for ages. There are links on my blog that are still active after 18 months, which is really impressive.
Anyway, I just mention all this in case any of you are having troubles downloading from my blog. If you experience any issues it's due to Pixeldrain servers and not a problem with my site that I can fix. So if you can't download something just try again later.
Hopefully these troubles will get sorted out soon and everything gets back to normal. But if the troubles continue or get worse then I may have to switch to another file host. I sure hope not as I just don't have the time to do new links for everything. So fingers crossed the Pixeldrain issues get sorted out soon.
Hi Bob, i had some trouble with pixeldrain about a week ago but it seems to be ok for me , at least for the last 5 or 6 days. Mike.
ReplyDeleteThat's interesting Mike because I didn't have any troubles until about 5-6 days ago. I have heard since that they are probably expanding the servers, so that would explain why it's on and off regularly.
