I've just now downloaded this one and haven't listened to it yet, but it's bound to be great. What's especially remarkable to me is that it features not just one, and not just two, but THREE artists whom I've been fortunate to see live over the years: Phil Alvin, Big Joe Turner, and Ella Mae Morse!
ReplyDeleteYou've done better than me Crab Devil, the only one out of that lot I've seen live was Ray Charles, saw him twice in Australia. First time in the mid 1970s, and second time in 2003, just a year before he passed away. He was superb both times.
