ReplyDeleteHi Mike. Although Dinah Washington was primarily considered a jazz singer, she was also a superb blues singer, and one that rarely gets mentioned whenever female blues singers are being discussed. I can listen to an entire album of Dinah Washington, but couldn't sit through a whole Billie Holiday or Bessie Smith album.
