Some scenes from Khon Kaen, NE Thailand
I've just returned from spending 5 nights at Khon Kaen, which is a large city 260kms north of where we live. I like to drive up there and stop a few nights fairly often, usually 2 or 3 times a year, mainly for shopping or if I have some business to sort out. Anyway, here are some photos I took while in Khon Kaen.

DeleteThose are wonderful pictures, Bob. Upon reflection, I think I like the very first one the best. It's not just that the landscape looks great in itself, it's also that there's somebody who's quite young looking with appreciation at something that's (presumably) very old.
ReplyDeleteHi Crab Devil, I'm pleased you like these photos. The first image I was on my morning walk and as I came upon that scene I instantly knew it was a good un, the light was perfect and the young girl looking across the water at the big pagoda. All these were taken with my android smart phone. I do own expensive cameras but rarely use them these days as my smart phone does a great job.
