RIP Gary Rossington (December 4, 1951 - March 5, 2023)

Farewell to the longest-serving original member of the Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Gary's slide playing on Freebird is superb, the tension he creates during the build up to the guitar solos is truly remarkable.

About This Blog

Primarily this blog features my home-made compilations. The tracks in these compilations are from many sources. Some my own rips, but the majority were obtained over the years from countless blogs: some still active, and others long since gone. So my thanks and acknowledgement goes to those who did the original rips. There are too many to name, and anyway, after so many years I no longer remember which tracks came from which source. Some officially released albums are also regularly posted, however I won't be posting any newly released albums, but old, odd, rare, hard to find, interesting, curious albums, all released long ago and brought once again to your attention as, for various reasons, they deserve another listen.
