Harmonica Bob Live (2007)
Back about 20 years ago I was living in the Thai seaside town of Sriracha (which is where the very popular Thai Sriracha Sauce originated) and I worked for a while at a part-time job helping out a couple of mornings a week at a local kindergarten. I was teaching the Thai kiddies basic English, singing the alphabet and other educational-based songs. As the little ones are bundles of energy I sensed they needed to let off some steam after my lessons, so I started bringing a harmonica with me and at the conclusion of each morning's lesson I'd blast away for a few minutes and let them run wild, dancing round the classroom. I wasn't aware one of the Thai teachers made a video until sometime later when she emailed me a copy, which just for fun I edited into this presentation.
Very cool -- and, who knows, you may even have created a few new blues fans in the process!
ReplyDeleteGood point Crab Devil, those kids are now in their early 20s, may well be one of them today playing blues harp in a band in a Bangkok pub.
DeleteGreat video Bob, i love it and it looks like the kids loved it too. Mike 🎶🎉
ReplyDeleteCheers Mike, glad you enjoyed it.
DeleteWow, how cool is this? Thanks for sharing, Bob.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it Jim, it was fun working with those little kids, and getting them to boogie to my blues harp. LOL.
DeleteI don't know who enjoyed it more 😄
