thanx Bob. Now that you're public, do ya think the world is ready for all these Hillbillies?
ReplyDeleteWell ready or not they're gonna get em moze. 😁
DeleteThanks Bob, I'm always ready for more Hillbillies, very nice comp with a Classic Hank Williams Tune and Johnny Cash singing a song i have always associated with Don Gibson who had many great tunes of his own and sang a great cover of the Hank Snow song I'm Moving On!! Mike.
ReplyDeleteHi Mike, unfortunate I haven't seen many country music greats perform live. I did see the Johnny Cash show in Australia in the very early 1970s, of course John & June but also Mother Maybelle and the Carter sisters, Carl Perkins, plus the Tennessee 3. A wonderful show. I also saw Australian country legend Slim Dusty live in 1977, but that's about it.
DeleteThanks Bob, An appropriate title for the post at this time with the cook in hospital having a knee replacement, Have the pooch for company anyway and the cook be home shortly. Only 2 artists i haven't heard ,Harrison Crump & Johnny Williams. Nice one again
ReplyDeleteHi Ted, I know all about the lonesome blues, when one has to spend time separated from that special woman. Here's wishing "the cook" a speedy recovery. Glad you enjoyed this compilation.
DeleteGood one, Bob. Those old country guys know how to do lonesome!
