amazing how you can go down the list and see all the Great R&R Stars who crossed over to Country (Marty, Jerry Lee, Conway, Crash Craddock - Even Elvis)... as Conway said, "A Rock Star has a Career life-span of 2 weeks... Country fans stay with you for a lifetime."
ReplyDeleteInteresting observation moze. I guess they were mostly Southern boys too and very close to country music, Rock & Roll happened in their teens but as they aged a bit they drifted closer to their country roots.

ReplyDeleteHi Mike, yep Mystery Train is a mighty good song. I saw a vid of Jerry Lee Lewis doing this song at a festival somewhere and JLL was playing guitar.
