ReplyDeleteHi Mike, I'll dig around and see if I can come up with some more by Joe Bennett & The Sparkletones.
DeleteAbsolutely Amazing how you find songs that are lost forever with time.
ReplyDeleteI've been collecting for decades moze and have a massive collection. 😁
DeleteThank you Mr Bob

DeleteHi Bob... really digg'n your Early Rok n' Rockabilly. But it seems your earlier comps are now nonexistent. Just found your site.
ReplyDeleteHi Moezeke and welcome here. Yes, I'm aware most of the earlier links are now inactive, it's a shame but it's not a problem with all my regulars as they get what they want as soon as it's posted. But if there's anything you would like from the earlier posts let me know and I can redo the links, but please keep it to about 3 at a time.
DeleteThank you Bob.
ReplyDeleteCheers Done4it, glad to hear you enjoy these.
DeleteThank you for your posts Mr Mac. I really like your obscure artists... ie _ like Marvin Jackson. Have you seen/checked out the meaning behind the tune Hadacol Boogie, its a pip! It's just that I like period pieces 50's & 60's. Rockabilly, Surf, Mersey Beat, Nederbiet, not the "neo" stuff. Product of the times is always the best I think. Oh yes I'm a young 73 Rock N' Roller. Thanks again for the welcome...
ReplyDeleteHi and welcome to the blog. Yes, I understand Hadacol was a medicine, and JLL also did a version of Hadacol Boogie. I agree with you about the original old artists were the best, I don't feature any of the retro stuff here, just the originators. Anyway, there's plenty more coming so dig in and enjoy.
