Thx a lot Bob for this new Rockabilly items. I saw Jerry Lee 4 times in concert and one time together with Chuck Berry. A great moment
ReplyDeleteHi musicyoucan, lucky you seeing JLL live. I missed out, he was booked to play in Perth in the early 1970s and I had a ticket but the show was cancelled for some reason, so he never played in the west of Australia.
DeleteThanks Bob, great looking comp including two from Elvis from his great rock and roll tunes when he first came on the scene. Mike.
ReplyDeleteCheers Mike, glad you like it, lots of good people in that one.
DeleteThanks so much, Bob! ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ
ReplyDeleteEnjoy Concha.
DeleteSuper Jerry Lee (with Neil Young?), I'm going to listen to this compilation first. Thanks for that, Bob!
ReplyDeleteYep, a bit unusual but I like to feature these sort of tracks.
DeleteMy favorite Jerry Lee Story. He was driving down a dusty country road and stopped for gas at a General Store/Filling Station. Saw some of his PIRATED CD;s for sale in a glass counter. Went back to his car, got the tire iron, went inside and smashed the display case.... ohhh and thanx Bob for #69
ReplyDeleteHi moze, yep I believe that, he was a tad crazy from what I've read about him. Interesting that he lived so long - he was the last one of the great 1950s rock & rollers to die - considering that he was a chronic whisky alcoholic for most of his life.
DeleteFantastic! Thank you Bob.
ReplyDeleteCheers Wayne, glad you enjoy it!
