  2. Forgot to say Thank You this morning. I was too busy downloading while eating a bowl of Cheerios... and nice picture of JLL (to the right)... he's on my Mount Rushmore of favorite artists. That picture has to be at least 65 years old.

    1. Cheers moze, glad you enjoyed this one. I never got to see JLL live, he was booked to do a Perth concert in the early 1970s and I had tickets but it was cancelled and Jerry Lee only played the Eastern states of Australia.

  3. I`ve not seen JLL, but my husband did back in 1983 in Germany at a huge Country Festival (Grugahalle, Essen) together with Tammy Wynette, Billie Jo Spears, Ed Bruce, Bobby Bare, and approx. 15 other bands and artists from USA/Canada, Germany, and Australia. The only person who cancelled his appearance 2 days prior was Hank Snow. ...

    1. That sounds like a mighty fine festival. We got to see many legends play in Perth but we missed many too due to the huge distance between the west coast and the heavier populated east coast. UK and Europe had far more tours and festivals as often there are short distances between destinations. 😎
