    1. Thanks again Bob. The two Sonny Boy tracks are interesting. 1959 so it has to be SBW2. Did he not only appropriate "Williamson" but also "Williams" which SBW1 also used? Wish I'd seen Little Junior Parker live!

    2. Albert: Sonny Boy Williams is a different artist altogether, just a minor artist who tried to cash in on the Sonny Boy name. I can't remember much about him now but did read about him on the back of some LP covers years ago. From memory he was from Texas and recorded a couple of singles in the late 1950s.

  2. Thanks Bob,
my mistake. Bear Family have it as one and the same here:

However no one else does, must be a printing error.

    1. Hi Albert, I think there's always been some confusion over this guy. I remember when his tracks were first reissued back in the early 1970s on one of the reissue LPs (I think a Flyright LP) it was pointed out to everyone that this was not Sonny Boy Williamson.

  4. I'd seen somewhere that Sonny Boy Williamson had recorded a track under the name of Sonny Boy Williams. However it turned out to be SBW 1.

I believe the song was"Another Half A Pint" and crops up on a various album - "Too Much Booze (Drinking Songs Straight From The Jukejoint Round The Corner)" on Koko Mojo Records in 2018.

I spent too long digging for this, time for a coffee. Before I go let me say SBW2 was really something.
