Hi everyone. Well 2023 is here. I hope you all had an enjoyable NYE and your hangovers are not too bad.

Starting the New Year is Volume 79 in the Best Of Blues, R&B, Soul & Gospel, 20 rare blues, R&B, soul tracks from 1948 to 1973, from a very diverse collection of artists: Little Miss Sharecropper, Johnny Guitar Watson, Arbee Stidham, Floyd Dixon, Mitch Ryder, Shirley Gunter, and others.

And nothing like some jazz for a Sunday morning. Here's Volume 6 - Minor Mood - in the Assorted Best Of Jazz, with Ray Brown, Lou Donaldson, Sarah Vaughan, Miles Davis, Johnny Coles, Quincy Jones, and many more outstanding jazz artists.

Primarily this blog features my home-made compilations. The tracks in these compilations are from many sources. Some my own rips, but the majority were obtained over the years from countless blogs: some still active, and others long since gone. So my thanks and acknowledgement goes to those who did the original rips. There are too many to name, and anyway, after so many years I no longer remember which tracks came from which source. Some officially released albums are also regularly posted, however I won't be posting any newly released albums, but old, odd, rare, hard to find, interesting, curious albums, all released long ago and brought once again to your attention as, for various reasons, they deserve another listen.
