Thanks Bob. Another pleasant playlist. We do seem to be on the same wavelength musically so for me this is excellent. One of my favourite B3 (great instrument) players in this one = Don Patterson. Managed to record quite a few albums with some major names on Prestige but battled the dreaded heroin like so many. Creativity has a flip side.
ReplyDeleteThanks Albert, yes Don Patterson made some real nice recordings. I have quite a lot by Don and he'll be cropping up in the future.
DeleteVery nice mix here Bob, Thanks. i like hearing songs from known singers other than their hits, like Lee Dorsey and Arthur Conley. Mike.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment, yes I like to mix in the lesser known recordings by artists other than their big hits. I never want my compilations to be "Best Of", there are plenty of "Best Of" comps out there, mine are more interesting and varied.
