And another primarily blues/R&B compilation offering a wide selection of styles ranging from Billie Holiday's 1936 "Billie's Blues" to Albert C. Humprey's rollicking "Leave My Baby For Me" in 1989. Along with tracks by G.L. Crockett, Wynonie Harris, Dinah Washington, Tarheel Slim & Little Ann, Arthur Conley, Helen Humes and others including the superb "Adams' Alley", recorded in 1949 for RCA Victor by Illinois Jacquet & His Orchestra.

    1. Good point Mike, Elvis was born in Jan 1935, so in late 1953 he would be 18yo. He looks about 15-16 in that photo.
