Volume 57 in the "Best Of Blues, R&B, Soul & Gospel" today again focuses primarily on female Soul/R&B singers. In all 21 tracks from 1947-2020 from Merry Clayton, Lillian Offitt, Lorez Alexandria, Vicki Starr and others, including a couple of 1962 recordings from Brenda Lee.

And "Rockabilly & Early Rock & Roll Recordings", now at Volume 11 brings more rockin' boppin' tracks from legends Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Bobby Charles, Johnny Horton, Whitey Pullen, The Collins Kids, and many others.

Primarily this blog features my home-made compilations. The tracks in these compilations are from many sources. Some my own rips, but the majority were obtained over the years from countless blogs: some still active, and others long since gone. So my thanks and acknowledgement goes to those who did the original rips. There are too many to name, and anyway, after so many years I no longer remember which tracks came from which source. Some officially released albums are also regularly posted, however I won't be posting any newly released albums, but old, odd, rare, hard to find, interesting, curious albums, all released long ago and brought once again to your attention as, for various reasons, they deserve another listen.
